New teaching methods (m-learning) are making us reconsider the teaching and learning process. In this educational reality, which introduce changes to the teaching process, emerges, in Extremadura, the eScholarium initiative as an innovative project aimed to improve educational quality, academic achievement and student success.
This case study, about the implementation of the eScholarium in a school based in Extremadura, has the purpose to understand the educational communities’ vision towards the development of the project and also, to offer suggestions to improve its weaknesses.
The results show how participants highlight the key potential aspects of eScholarium and the devices used, but they consider that there are several downfalls still to be remedied by the digital educational platform, in the educational practices and in the pedagogical organization of the school to achieve the aspirations of the project.
