The educational system increasingly requires the incorporation of innovative tools to support content learning. This study analysed different approaches to the use of artistic practices in the acquisition of academic content and values. The main aim was to examine how the integration of art in the classroom influences learning processes, the methodologies employed, and the development of students’ skills and values. The PRISMA method was applied through searches in the WOS, ERIC, Scopus and Dialnet databases. Studies published in the last ten years, with thematic relevance and focused on education, were selected. A final sample of twelve articles met the established criteria, with a noticeable increase in scientific production over the last five years. The reviewed studies showed positive associations between the inclusion of art and variables such as motivation, academic performance, creativity and socio-emotional skills. The findings highlight that artistic practices, together with innovative methodologies and cultural resources, promote more meaningful learning and greater student engagement. This review confirms the benefits of integrating artistic practices in educational settings, particularly in enhancing motivation, academic achievement and the acquisition of values.
