DON QUIXOTE TO THE RHYTHM OF ROCK AND ROLL: SPANISH ROCK MUSIC AS A DIDACTIC RESOURCE IN HIGH SCHOOL LITERATURE LESSONS

Abstract

This article aims to expose the didactic possibilities in contemporary Spanish rock music and introduce it as an ally to work with in High School Literature lessons. Therefore, after addressing the relationship between rock music and Literature, as well as the prejudices arisen by this union, the essay focuses in the analysis of those songs belonging to this music genre that take don Quixote as their source. Finally, all this is applied in a teaching proposal.
