One of the most importants demands of the Secondary Education teacher is centered on how to approach new strategies of "teaching to learn" to the students. Both the tutorial and the psicopedagogic intervention have been guided traditionally toward the teaching of study skills. Recently, other sort of performances are being popularized, focused rather on the development of the previous cognitive strategies of the pupil, through the implemantation of Teaching to Think Programs. The present paper is a summary of a doctoral tesis results, recently defended in the Extremadura University. We have compared the efficiency of these two kind of training programs concerning their capability to improve the comprehension strategies of the pupil. Furthermore, the researching is directed toward testing a third propasa[ that integrates components of both, and adds other elements that could make possible its utilization in the curricular contexts, especially in the "Programas de Diversificación Curricular" of the spanish education system.
