EL ALUMNADO DE MAGISTERIO Y LA ELECCIÓN DE CARRERA. APUNTES DE ALGUNOS CONDICIONAMIENTOS SOCIOECONÓMICOS Y CULTURALES SIGNIFICATIVOS

Abstract

Access of students to the academic world and thus to career election, is a difficult way to run for many students after finishing their secondary studies, when they start thinking what to do in the ji1ture with their efforts. Such as the actual work situations actually shows, many boys and girls must access to the higher studies having in mind a bunch of conditions that in many cases have nothing in common with the personal self-satisfaction when selecting their career. This paper is oriented to the study of some economic and sociocultural aspects related to the career election, as referred to the Education Faculty in the University of Extremadura. In this matter will be presented original statistical data related to this kind of alumni, their particular characteristics, evolution and degree of feminization. Also, will be presented data related to the social extraction, academic background and professional expectations
