Abstract

This project arises due to the need of detect basic physical, emotional, social and cognitive requirements in pupils of CHILDREN'S EDUCATION (EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL) in the school and be able to prepare specific materials which allow us to work in an individual way with them, being aware of the importance of covering these needs during the first years of life for their future personal fulfilment.

We need to develop a compensating action f or those pupils who show special economic, ethnic, social conditions together with their parents ‘residence, conditions of a serious disease or any other, pupils who show special difficulties to reach the general objectives

in education.

During the academic year 01-02 we are a "GROUP OF WORK"("GRUPO DE TRABAJO") in CPR of Badajoz and we have done the following materials:

- An observation criteria to detect the basic needs which allow us to perceive the specific problems of our pupils.

- Testing activities to develop an individual way with a boy or girl who show special educational need (educational compensation)

- Graded exercises wich stimulate the ocular-manual coordination of the boy or girl in CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, taking into account the dynamic manual coordination.

During the academic year 02-03 we carry out this experience with the pupils of CHILDREN'S EDUCATION who require it in the school.
