The mixed research methodology for the conception of a project for the promotion of education for culture

This study outlines the description, conceptual framework and methodological options for implementing an educational project called TICultura. This project enabled the development of the concept of education for culture in schools through collaborative activities, with recourse to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). For this purpose, relationships were established between three fundamental dimensions: Education for Culture, ICT and collaborative learning. The research was carried out using a work plan based on quantitative and qualitative data and framed in the socio-critical paradigm. The methodological approach was action research. analysis of the data resulting from questionnaire and interview surveys, participant observation, and the use of the Sapo Campus platform indicates that the collaborative work using the ICT enhances the interest and learning of cultural subject matter and allows us, furthermore, to justify the methodological options made, taking into account the fulfilment of the research objectives
